We need the support of as many users and lovers of the Hill and Hermitage as possible, in order to give us greater financial and political muscle in pursuit of our objectives of conserving and enhancing the wildlife, habitats and amenities in and around this area.

Please consider joining us if you are not already a member - just complete and send our application form!

The annual subscription of £5 goes to support our quarterly newsletter, a programme of meetings, talks and practical events and the administrative costs of our campaigning.

One of our priorities at present is to develop the wetland patch just west of Blackford Pond as an improved habitat for suitable animals and plants - to find out more about the friends' wetland & woodland patch, contact Jeff Maguire at patch@fohb.org.
