The latest in a series of practical workdays down at the patch took place in June. Our main focus this time was tackling the Japanese Knotweed, a highly invasive non-native species which needs to be removed or at least strictly controlled. We also put in stepping stones on the south side of the boardwalk, using stumps left over from the willow tree surgery. Everyone certainly deserved their post-task pancakes, courtesy of Jeff's friend Alexis! |
